THE KERRO RESIDENCY

The Kerro Residency offers accommodation in historical flats, catering and conference facilities, the artist-in-residence program particularly focused on the filmmaking industry and editing facilities. The Kerro Residency is a part of The Pram Museum and it is situated in Käru, Central Estonia. 

LOCATION: Käru, Estonia

– 80 km from Tallinn

– accessible by train (around 1H from Tallinn’s main train station)

– 100 metres from train stop Käru (Direction Tallinn – Türi, Tallinn – Viljandi)

– next to Coop store

ROOMS:

– 4 flats for 16 persons

– Event venue for 30 people

– Editing computer | PC with 27’’ monitors, JBL sound

Whether you’re a history enthusiast, an architecture admirer, or simply seeking a one-of-a-kind getaway, Kerro Residence offers an unparalleled experience. The salons on the ground floor are suitable for communal activities and are regularly used for events. Immerse yourself in the charm of our historical flats, available as part of a tour around the Pram Museum, or simply rent one for your own special holiday. In summer, we accommodate up to 16 guests (+ possible to use tents). Event venue for 30 people.

CATERING

We offer food for groups. 

Conference centre for up to 30 participants, Fireplace Hall for 50 – 60. We offer catering both indoors and outdoors upon pre-order. 

ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE PROGRAM

The Kerro Residency’s artist-in-residence program is dedicated to supporting international artists and filmmakers working in the field of visual art and cinema. Our goal is to support collaboration between artists. The Kerro Residency provides a place to stay, work, make presentations, reflect, and participate in discussions.

APPLYING FOR A RESIDENCY / GRANT

It is possible to apply for a residency as a guest artist through our open calls for applications, or by being suggested for the program by one of our cooperation partners. The open dates and deadlines will be announced soon.
